  • 23:10 My ankle looks like....I'm too tired for metaphors. My ankle is bruised. Really, really bruised. :/ #
  • 23:12 @DieAnanas If you can do it without getting punched in the face, I say go for it. (But I'm a heartless bitch, so maybe don't listen to me.) #
  • 23:13 @Syddalee Have a safe journey, Red! <3 #
  • 23:14 Put on DJ Tiesto's "space age III". Mayhaps this can get me in the mood for writing my spaceship scene. #
  • 01:27 Choice between aiming for 48K or sleeping now. Not sure which yet. Will write until I make a decision, or I hit 48K. Whichever comes first, #

Please don't hold back. Really, really pick it apart.

Contains homosexual themes.

It felt necessary that you should attend. It’s all that anyone’s been talking about for weeks but something about tonight begs for you to remain at home.

Frantic music forces its way out of the house, infesting the summer air. A waif of a girl hurtles out the door, pushing her way past you. She collapses on all fours and her body convulses as she soils the pristine lawn. The acrid smell of her vomit compels you to enter the party. You can’t even take one last breath to steel yourself.

The house is crammed full of people, most of them strangers. Hung from the ceiling, fairy lights, illuminating tear-stained faces and dilated pupils red, green, yellow.

Finally, the last installment of our Walt Disney World trip during October! So we bought tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the nights of October 8th and 9th. Sadly no cast member discounts, so we had to pay full price. But holy cow it was worth it, because after several years of going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party in California Adventure, I can now say that Florida's Halloween parties kick our parties' ASS. Florida is better in every way, not only do they have way more characters and way more treat trails, you get to wear almost any costume into the MAGIC KINGDOM (which is not allowed at D*sneyland). Sure, I had known about this event for years, but actually experiencing it kinda blew my mind.

The first night I wore Giselle, Kat wore Mary Poppins, and Jen wore Belle.

Ahh Thanksgiving... I love an excuse to cheat on my diet. Back to the grind today though! I woke up early to watch the parade. Giant Pikachu balloon ftw. I squealed in delight. What am I, 4?

My dad woke up at 3am today to go shopping with a friend. He scored so many great deals! I asked him to get me a DVD for Christmas but he said he got me something else I've been wanting. Lol WHAT COULD THAT BE. I didn't ask for anything else. Maybe it's a slow cooker? That's the only thing I could think of- as I haven't talked about anything else.

Mmm... soup.

  • 20:17 Because of a fanmix I have, "Where gravity is Dead" by Laura Veirs is completely Sheldon's song. It's very lovely & sweet & a bit melancholy #
  • 20:45 Word count atm: 42,870. Catching up from The Big Bang Theory filming. Want to get to 44K tonight if possible. Maybe even 45K if I can. #
  • 20:47 @ClassicJules Welcome to Twitter kiddo! I knew we'd convert you someday ♥ #
  • 21:19 @ClassicJules We're going to be there at 5:30AM. What time are you guys going? #
  • 22:18 @ClassicJules WHAT? Why are you going there now?? The lines not going to be THAT long! #
  • 22:19 @ClassicJules Don't go there if you're going to be there alone Jules, I really mean it! D: #
  • 22:26 @ClassicJules Jules, if you go now you'll be THE first, for the next six hours. Just wait until the morning, seriously. #
  • 22:26 @ClassicJules Don't want you down there alone, it's dangerous. #
  • 22:51 @ClassicJules I don't think either of you should be waiting out there alone together for six hours. #
  • 22:52 @ClassicJules At least wait until it's closer till opening, like 3 or 4, ok? I swear, nobody will be there then. You'll still be first. #
  • 23:10 @ClassicJules I have a sense of adventure! But not at night :p #
  • 23:15 Word count for the day is 45,042. I'm going to leave it there, go shower, and sleep some before we have to get up for Black Friday. #
  • 23:15 @danregal OHDEARGODNOTTHEPUPPETS. #

Our little baby's all grown up and going to Kindergarten limited release, getting mostly good reviews ... and we're on the BBC!

A number of reviewers and commentators have mentioned their wish to have seen a more accurate exploration of racial politics in the South in the Twenties, which, yes, is absolutely a serious issue. There's a whole story behind why this is glossed over in our movie* but I'm not sure I'm allowed to talk about it because so far the directors haven't done so themselves. So, before the movie reaches cinemas across North America, I shall leave it at this. If you want to see an visually pleasing film about race relations in early 20th-century America with a score by Randy Newman, you should watch this:

It's really good. Really good. Made by the guy who went on to make Amadeus so, you know ... it's good. But it's not Disney, and it's certainly not The Princess and the Frog.

*not least because hello, this is Disney

Ugh... I am in so much pain from cramping I wonder if it's because of period cramps with a good dose of IBS ;.;

::rolls in pain:: ugh...

At least it's not Thanksgiving here as it would suck to feel that way during a holiday.
